My Story

I’ve officially signed up for the Cardiff Half Marathon again — which probably raises the question… did I not learn my lesson the first time? 😅

This will be my second crack at the 13.1 miles, and I’m determined to beat my previous time of 2:08. Whether that’s driven by motivation, stubbornness, or selective memory of how tough the final few miles are… we’ll find out on race day.

Jokes aside, I’m running in support of Alzheimer’s — a cause that affects millions of families and changes lives in unimaginable ways. It’s heartbreaking to see someone lose their memories and parts of who they are, and I want to do my small part in helping fund research, improve care, and bring us closer to a world without this disease.

Every donation, big or small, will make a real difference and will definitely help carry me through the early morning training runs and the moments where my legs start negotiating with me to stop. If you’re able to support, I’d be hugely grateful — and if not, your encouragement alone means more than you know. Let’s see if we can chase down that new PB while supporting an incredible cause 💙
